Key Takeaways

  • Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) will begin using Integrity Compliance 360’s suite of integrity monitoring and prohibited bettor tools.
  • The governmental gaming operator joins numerous commercial sites in using IC360 services like its integrity monitoring dashboard and the ProhiBet solution.
  • IC360 is licensed as an independent integrity monitor in both Ontario and Alberta, and also co-developed iGaming Ontario’s self-exclusion system BetGuard.

Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) and Integrity Compliance 360 (IC360) unveiled a new partnership on Tuesday that allows the provincial crown corporation to use the company’s prohibited bettor technology, bad actor detection, and integrity monitoring services.

The Ontario governmental gaming operator will utilize IC360’s various tools and services on its PROLINE sports betting platform, including:

  • Its proprietary integrity monitoring dashboard, which aggregates global odds, anonymized betting activity, and official data feeds in one place
  • The ProhiBet solution that aims to prevent prohibited betting by athletes, coaches, officials, and league staff
  • The ‘Bad Actor‘ technology IC360 developed with Signify, which seeks to combat threats, fraud, and harassment directed at athletes, coaches, referees, and other sports personnel

By teaming up with the integrity monitoring expert, OLG intends to strengthen its ability to detect and report suspicious betting patterns, enforce wagering restrictions seamlessly, and allow sports leagues, teams, and governing bodies to identify users who should not be allowed to bet on certain sports or markets.

“Maintaining the integrity of our PROLINE gaming platform is always paramount,” said OLG Senior Director of Digital Sports Product and iSports Product Greg Sindall. “IC360’s robust monitoring and alert systems provide real-time feedback to ensure that our business and our players are protected. Additionally, ProhiBet flags prohibited players, preventing them from wagering on our events.”

Which gaming operators does IC360 work with in Canada?

IC360 CCO Ali Schempp said that partnering with OLG marks “a monumental milestone” in its Canadian operations.

“As the first government agency in the province to adopt our Bad Actor technology, OLG is proving itself as a true first mover — demonstrating how crown corporations can proactively protect sports participants and elevate market oversight,” added Schempp. “We are thrilled to welcome them into the ProhiBet and Bad Actor ecosystems.”

As a licensed independent integrity monitor in both Ontario and Alberta’s regulated iGaming markets, IC360 already has a large presence in Canadian online gambling. Its operator partners include numerous brands live in both provinces, including:

  • Bet365
  • Bet99
  • BetMGM
  • BetRivers
  • Caesars Sportsbook
  • DraftKings
  • FanDuel
  • theScore Bet

It also works with a wide range of professional sports leagues that have teams located in Canada, including Major League Baseball, Major League Soccer, the NBA, the NHL, and more.

IC360 co-developed Ontario’s self-exclusion system

IC360 is also a partner of Ontario’s online gambling conduct-and-manage agency iGaming Ontario, which oversees all commercial online sportsbooks and casinos in the province, with the exception of OLG.

IC360 and DataWorks co-developed iGO’s centralized self-exclusion system for online gambling, BetGuard. Launched in May 2026, BetGuard allows users to block off their access to any licensed iGaming site in the province, including OLG’s platforms, in one move. All authorized Ontario iGaming sites must promote and link to BetGuard on their platforms and offer various term lengths for self-exclusion.

An iGO spokesperson told Canadian Gaming Business this summer that thousands of users opted out of iGaming platforms using BetGuard within the first two months of the tool becoming available.

Earlier in 2026, IC360 President of Canadian Operations and Managing Director of Global Advisory Strategy Ilkim Hincer spoke to Canadian Gaming Business at length about the integrity challenges faced by the Canadian gaming industry and whether firmer measures such as federal legislation or a national database are needed to further strengthen sporting and betting integrity across the country.

“If we don’t think this activity is happening across the country, we’d be fools,” Hincer said of match-fixing and suspicious betting. “… It’s making sure we all work together — IC360, law enforcement, operators, leagues. These are no insular issues. It’s not one stakeholder or another who will solve this problem. It needs all of us.”
