Czech online gambling supplier Endorphina is one of the latest iGaming companies to receive a license to operate in Alberta’s regulated market.
The Prague-based company confirmed on Aug. 24 that it has been approved by the market’s regulator, Alberta Gaming, Liquor, and Cannabis (AGLC). The company’s license was effective Aug. 12, allowing it to begin rolling out its portfolio of more than 200+ games to players in Alberta.
Operational in Ontario’s regulated market since April 2026, the expansion into Alberta is the latest step in Endorphina’s long-term expansion plan, which includes strengthening its presence in North America. The gambling software provider is now actively supplying to operators in 59 regulated jurisdictions worldwide.
The company said that Alberta represents “a particularly valuable achievement” due to its specific local legal, regulatory, and technical requirements.
“Entering this market requires a carefully tailored approach, including the implementation of several dedicated internal technical and compliance processes,” added Endorphina in a press release.
