FansUnite Partners with OneComply to Help With Further U.S. Expansion
January 19, 2021
FansUnite Entertainment has partnered with compliance and licensing specialist OneComply Inc. to help with its further expansion in the United States.
As the sports entertainment company looks to enter into additional North American legalized gaming jurisdiction, OneComply will provide advice on protocol and strategy.
Scott Burton, CEO of FansUnite, said: "We are pleased to be partnering with OneComply as we look to tackle the North American gaming market. As a licensed betting and igaming company, we understand how difficult and nuanced the licensing process can be. With the help of OneComply, we will be able to streamline the process to enter new North American markets and showcase our suite of gaming solutions to a broader audience."
Cameron Conn, CEO of OneComply Inc, explained: "The amount of opportunity in North America for new-to-market companies can be overwhelming given the various licensing processes and jurisdictional requirements, with companies no longer trying to enter one jurisdiction, but multiple jurisdictions simultaneously.
"This creates a tremendous amount of lag in productivity even with the most seasoned of compliance and legal teams. We understand the importance FansUnite places on regulation, and we look forward to supporting their scale in the North American market."
More and more U.S. states are legalizing single-event sports betting and expanding their markets in the field. FansUnite recently partnered with GameCo LLC, US Bookmaking, and Sky Ute Casino to create the first dedicated eSports sportsbook in the United States.
This latest move continues a profitable period for FansUnite, which became the latest member of the Canadian Gaming Association in November.
