“We completed our last major construction project in 2001, when we added the hotel, conference centre and theatre. After more than 15 years of operation, it’s time to invest in our gaming area,” said Kevin Taylor, General Manager of the Casino du Lac-Leamy and Casino de Mont- Tremblant, in an announcement to press. “This will allow the Casino du Lac-Leamy to retain a competitive advantage in an environment that is evolving rapidly.”
Highlights of the facility-wide renovations include the construction of a central casino floor “hub”, sporting a bar, lounge, and nightclub. Adding to this, the renovation will involve the installation of a state- of-the-art multimedia environment, designed to energize and enhance Casino du Lac-Leamy's overall atmosphere.
“The multimedia environment was successfully launched at our sister casino in Charlevoix, albeit on a much smaller scale,” says Catherine Schellenberg, spokesperson for the Casino du Lac-Leamy. “Through use of light and projection, you can convey a sense that something is going on, whether it’s a customer who has won a jackpot, or a special promotion or event that's going on.”
